Mikhail Fukshansky, M.D


Dr. Fukshansky developed his interest for Pain Management during his residency. He was extremely excited when he learned of his acceptance to complete his fellowship with world renowned MD Anderson. It was during his fellowship at MD Anderson that he decided to utilize his training and experience within his community.

After his fellowship he remained on faculty with the institution where he learned new techniques, advanced his knowledge and developed new technologies with his colleagues. Due to the nature of his training he emphasizes understanding the etiology of his patient’s condition, conducting a thorough physical exam and providing cutting edge treatment to improve the patient’s overall quality of life. Though the specialty of pain management is relatively young, it has and will continue to contribute to the field of medicine.

Dr. Fukshansky derives his inspiration from the pioneers of his field and with this knowledge strives to incorporate the newest technology and treatments in providing care for his patients. Dr. Fukshansky individualizes treatment for each patient in providing medication management as well as interventional techniques for a variety of complex symptoms. Dr. Fukshansky continues to contribute his respected expertise in the Pain Management field by writing book chapters for commonly utilized textbooks and significant articles.
