Daniel Hatmaker, DC, NP-C

Daniel is a Galveston Island native that joined the Spine and Joint Pain Center team in 2011.  He brings a desire to improve an individual’s quality of life by implementing safe and effective practices of interventional pain medicine.  He benefits these patients both in our clinic and at Clear Lake Regional Hospital. His vast education led him to degrees in Human Biology, Doctorate of Chiropractic, and Family Nurse Practitioner.  He also has over 200 hours of post-graduate studies in Clinical Nutrition.  This unique combination of education allows him to incorporate a holistic approach to treating an individual’s pain.

Daniel’s education began at Texas State University, followed by post-graduate studies at Texas Chiropractic College and Samford University.  The completed internship at VA Central Hospital in Temple, TX allowed him to treat the pain needs of the veterans who served our great country.  He also had the opportunity to work with citizens within the community by completing a majority of his residency at Clear Lake Regional Hospital. Daniel also participated in mission trips that allowed him to provide health care to the residents of Cuernavaca, Mexico and Manaus, Brazil.

Daniel is currently one of the team doctors for the Galveston College Whitecaps baseball and softball teams.  He is also an active member of the Clear Lake Regional Hospital Pain Committee.  His passion for interventional pain medicine has allowed him to excel in the focus of ultrasound guided injections and inpatient management of various pain syndromes. He is always searching for new, innovative, and effective ways to treat our patients.
